Privacy Policy

I chose Koko analytics, for keeping track of the number of people who view my site. This program does not use external services, so no data about my visitors leaves my site. Koko does not allow any personal information or anything to identify a reader, and thus visitors to my site cannot be tracked.

Word Press does use cookies or other tracking devices, so they may gather information if you come to my site. I do not have access to the info in Word Press’s tracking devices. I am simply writing, filming and sharing life with you. But I must post this privacy information, because my web hosting company does these things (and I assume they do so honorably, as I did research Word Press and have never heard of any malicious breech of privacy on their behalf).

Who we are

Our website address is: https://threeblessedgals.com. As “Debbie the Bee,” a private individual (not a corporation) I am the administrator of this website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Minors: We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen (18) without verifiable parental consent.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site “we” {this means Word Press} collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. I do not, personally, have access to Gravatar, but this is a service provided by Word press for me to receive comments.

Contact forms

If you leave a comment, I may keep your contact form submissions for a year for customer service purposes, but I do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. I only use Koko analytics, which does not send your information to a third party, but Word press may use a Google analytics. I do not have access to the cookies WordPress places here, and as for any cookies Koko places, you have the option to opt out of the cookies on my site. Koko Analytics is GDPR compliant by design. I chose this analytics company, because of their reputation for honoring viewer’s privacy.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

I use Koko Analytics. Their web address is: https://www.kokoanalytics.com/ You can read their privacy policy there. Blue Host, my web host (they host this account) collect some anonymous analytics data, and they have access to it, but not me. This is their webpage to show you what they collect about me, their hosted subscriber: https://www.bluehost.com/hosting/info/privacy-policy.

Who we share your data with

By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone, and neither do I.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely by WordPress, but not by me. This is so they can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. I only keep the information you send in my comments section for 6 months, but will immediately delete it if you ask, along with your comment.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We at threeblessedgals have no power over that. We personally do not send your data anywhere.

Your contact information

Certain visitors to Threeblessedgals’s websites choose to interact with Threeblessedgals in ways that require Threeblessedgals to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Threeblessedgals gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog to provide a username and email address.  Currently we do not have a subscriber (email) list.  But in the future, when we develop one, and for those who wish to receive Threeblessedgals updates via email, we collect their emails. In each case, Threeblessedgals collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Threeblessedgals. Threeblessedgals does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Our website will eventually contain links to affiliate and other websites. Threeblessedgals does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other such websites. Therefore, we encourage all users and visitors to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. The aforementioned Privacy Policy Agreement applies only and solely to the information collected by our website.

How we protect your data

We do not share your personal information with anyone. When you leave a comment, it goes directly to Debbie the Bee, the administrator, and no one else. Only if the local authorities (police, and others like them) request, would we hand over any info we receive in our comments (and this is unlikely, since this is a low profile, family website void of any political content).

What data breach procedures we have in place

We protect the identity of the administrator’s email, and no one but Debbie the Bee can log into this website. We shall endeavor and shall take every precaution to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to its offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of the user’s personal information under our control.

What third parties we receive data from

None. I do not place ads on this site, and any ads that WordPress or Blue Host places (since this is a free site), is covered in their privacy policy here: https://wordpress.org/about/privacy/ and here: https://www.bluehost.com/hosting/info/privacy-policy. If I ever switch to a paid Blue Host business theme, I will update this section (and even then I would only post ads for companies I trust–so for now there are no ads of my own).

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

None
